SPEC WORK

Sip & Read is a conceptual café brand I created as a spec project, designed to bring together the cosy joy of coffee and the quiet escape of a good book. The brand centres on creating a warm, inviting space where people can slow down, sip something comforting, and get lost in stories — alone or in good company. The project included a custom logo design, logo mock-up, café menu, pattern, a coffee mug mock-up, and a coffee packaging mock-up.

I designed the logo with a focus on simplicity and meaning, blending the shape of an open book and rising steam into a single, elegant “S.” A coffee bean replaces the dot on the “i”, adding a playful, thoughtful touch.

The whole design ties together to create a friendly, inviting vibe, something that feels cozy, thoughtful, and easy to connect with.
